Brown Elementary in Columbia, Tennessee, receives generous "Shoe Drop" courtesy of the Listerhill Foundation's Kicks for Kids Initiative.

There were 395 pairs of shoes donated to Brown Elementary and students were delighted to receive a pair of new, high-quality, name-brand athletic shoes along with five pairs of Bombas socks. The event was met with excitement from the school's staff and community, and the children were overjoyed to step into their new footwear.

The Kicks for Kids program plays a vital role in Listerhill's commitment to supporting the local community and making a positive impact on children's lives. By providing new shoes, the Listerhill Foundation is helping address the needs of children and inspiring them to thrive.

The initiative's aim is to boost children's self-esteem, foster school engagement, promote physical activity and empower them to realize their potential

Haley Brink, Listerhill's Director of Philanthropy, expressed enthusiasm about the event, saying, 

"We are thrilled to honor the students at Brown Elementary. It's a privilege for all of us at Listerhill Credit Union, the Listerhill Foundation and the Kicks for Kids Association to provide new shoes to these children. This celebration is a testament to our commitment to equip the children at Brown Elementary, and other students in our communities, with the tools they need to grow, play and succeed."

To date, the Listerhill Foundation and Kicks for Kids Association have distributed 4,745 pairs of shoes and 23,725 socks to children in the states of Alabama and Tennessee. While this Shoe Drop marks the first of the year and the first in the state of Tennessee, many more exciting events are planned.
