On Friday, November 15th, Aliceville Elementary School experienced a heartwarming event as every student received a brand-new pair of shoes and socks, thanks to the Kicks for Kids initiative.

This day was made possible through a corporate partnership and shoe drop sponsorship by Alabama CU Services (ACUSi). Recognizing the needs of the school, ACUSi chose Aliceville Elementary as the recipient, and Kicks for Kids worked tirelessly to ensure the event was a success.

The shoe drop brought more than just shoes—it brought hope, encouragement, and a sense of care to the students at the elementary school. Adding to the day’s excitement, Baseball Country provided lunch for all students, faculty, and staff, creating a memorable and celebratory atmosphere for the entire school. The generosity of this community partner ensured that everyone involved felt valued and appreciated, making the event even more special.

Over the past five years, Kicks for Kids has distributed more than 5,500 pairs of shoes and 20,000 pairs of socks, and the Aliceville Elementary shoe drop is a shining example of what can be achieved through corporate partnerships and community support.

The Listerhill Foundation, which funds Kicks for Kids, is dedicated to creating meaningful change in local communities.
