Over $53,000 Raised in Biggest Tournament Yet to Benefit Kicks for Kids

Muscle Shoals, ALA. – The Listerhill Foundation is thrilled to announce that its Third Annual Golf Tournament, held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail of the Shoals, was the biggest tournament yet. With over 160 golfers and 40 teams, this year’s event broke records and raised an astounding $53,000 to support the Kicks for Kids initiative.

This remarkable success allows the Foundation to provide more than 1,760 pairs of shoes and 8,830 pairs of socks to children in need at local schools across the area. The Kicks for Kids program is an integral part of Listerhill’s ongoing commitment to supporting the community and positively impacting children’s lives. By providing new shoes, the Listerhill Foundation addresses essential needs and inspires children to thrive.

Dedicated to empowering the future of our community, the Listerhill Foundation works step by step to make a lasting difference. Through partnerships with local schools, sponsors, and individuals, the Foundation has already distributed 4,745 pairs of shoes and 23,725 pairs of socks to children in the Tennessee Valley.

“This was our largest and most impactful tournament to date, and we are incredibly thankful to everyone who participated and contributed,” said Haley Brink, Director of Philanthropy at Listerhill Credit Union. “The overwhelming support from the community means we can continue to make a real difference in the lives of children across our region.”
